The Last Light at Harbor Road
No one has lived at 41 Harbor Road for eleven years. Still, a light appears upstairs every night at 2:17. Daniel watches from across the bay until curiosity becomes routine. One stormy night, the light begins to move from room to room.

At first Daniel thought the light belonged to a passing car. Harbor Road curved sharply behind the old house, and headlights often swept across its boarded windows.
But cars did not arrive at exactly 2:17 every morning.
On the ninth night he brought binoculars. The upstairs room glowed pale yellow for six minutes, then went dark. No shadow crossed the curtains. No door opened.
On the tenth night, during a storm that erased the road beneath sheets of rain, the light moved.
